Golf has grown substantially compared with the early Golf models. It is now a full-grown and comfortable car. Boot space is impressive in the Variant. The leg space in the backseat is however slightly limited, at least with me in the front seat (I am 200 cm).

The build quality of this model is not consistent with the past models. The Vw golf has lost its stand alone high quality and desirable status and has become an average “run of the mill “ car. It doesn’t stand out anymore!
