not as entertaining to drive as previous generation Mondeos of which i owned/drove 4 for 500,000+ Km with one single breakdown. The electric rather than hydraulic steering puts pay to it being an entertaining steer but it is big and comfortable and is brilliant on the motorway and faster A roads. Very quiet too and with the 180bhp/ps diesel engine has enough straight line shove for any occasion if not outright quick. Very practical too for UK everyday use carrying passengers and their luggage or down the DIY centre

The Mondeo is great value for money with loads of space. I am really annoyed that the Mondeo has been discontinued.

Altough it has large dimensions everyway, its manouvrebility in city is very nice thanks to its short front end and front tyre turning angles.. very large boot, very large back seat space, nice front seat and driver space, ergonomic dashboard, climate control and very very nice sony music system!!! Handling is superb, driving is smooth, no disturbing noise till 120 km/h. Looks nice, proportional and between sport and elegant. Very nice car.
